Cozied up in NYC

So as you all may or may not know, I am from New Jersey. Which means, New York City is just a hop, skip and a jump away. Being home from college is great, it gives you time to unwind and relax. But, before you know it, relaxation quickly dwindles into extreme bordem.

My 9 friends from high school and I decieded to take advantage of the close distance to NYC and spent the day there. Lucky for us, one of our friends has an apartment in Brooklyn so we took advantage of that as well. We stayed there overnight and then the next day we took the subway into Soho.

It was a surprisingly warmer day for mid January. We walked around with no specific plans. Then, we passed a tattoo shop and plans went from nothing specific to, okay so who’s getting a tattoo? If getting a tattoo in NYC wasn’t so expensive, my other girlfriend and I may of walked out with a teeny tiny one. But, that didn’t stop one of us out of the group. Now “NY” can be found on the side of Izzy. I loved the spontaneity of this pit stop on the day of our trip.

The day was simple, but it was just what I needed. I freaking love NYC!
